I'm not actually a member of the union yet, but am definitely interested of getting into road biking/time trials. I haven't got a road bike yet and was wondering if anyone had some advice for me with regards to buying one. The thing is I'm moving over to Celle, Germany soon, as I have transferred to a unit out there. Would it be better for me to buy a road bike over here before I move, or could I get a better deal in Germany? Also, does anyone know of any cycling events held in the Hohne garrison area?
