Not a race, but a fascinating and exciting challenge!
THE SOLENT COASTS CYCLING CHALLENGE will appeal particularly, not only to riders who enjoy a self-navigating event,
but especially members of the armed forces who have served time in Kosovo.
It is a circular mainly off-road challenge of 66 miles and involves 6 great ferry journeys. It must be completed in one day. Best of all, it raises funds to help bring humanitarian aid to many thousands of the poorest famiies in Kosovo, by supporting the UK charity
"HOPE AND AID DIRECT". This year the eighth annual challenge will take place on June 19th.
It would be phenominal if, for the first time, a team of Army riders were to take part. Click
